Armed assault in Châteauguay

On February 29th, 2020 around 1h10, Police officers from the Châteauguay Police Service were called to go to La Chope restaurant bar in Châteauguay concerning an injured person. Following an altercation, the man in his forties was injured with a stabbing weapon, he was taken to a regional hospital. The victim is in critical condition. Châteauguay Police Service investigators are currently collecting witness versions and are working to locate the suspect.
