Athlètes de l'année à l'école Billings

(English version follows)  Charlotte Dunsmore et Jordan Murphy ont été couronnés, en mai, athlètes de l’année de l’école secondaire H. S. Billings à Châteauguay.

La première parmi les filles et le second chez les garçons. Les deux ont brillé dans plusieurs sports individuels et collectifs offerts à l’école.

Charlotte Dunsmore s’est démarquée au soccer, au futsal, en athlétisme et au badminton.

Jordan Murphy s’est illustré au touch football, en athlétisme et au badminton.

Prix d’excellence

Trois finissants ont reçu un prix d’excellence pour leurs performances académiques et sportives durant leur secondaire, soit %, Celeste Groux, moyenne de 95 %, Brendan McNamee et Victoria King, moyenne de 85 % tous les deux. Les trois ont évolué dans au moins 12 équipes.

Athletes of the year

Charlotte Dunsmore and Jordan Murphy were crowned last month as athletes of the year at Billings High School in Chateauguay.

The first among the girls and second among the boys both sparkled in several individual and team sports offered at the school.

Charlotte Dunsmore was outstanding in soccer, futsal, track and badminton.

Jordan Murphy distinguished himself in touch football, track and  badminton.

Award of excellence

Three graduates received an Award of Excellence for their academic and sports performances during their secondary education. Celeste Groux had a 95% average, while Brendan McNamee and Victoria King each had an 85% average. All three of them played on at least 12 sports teams.
