The program is known under the name of ‘’Guerre des clans’’ in French. Chateauguay resident Arlene Bryant, her three daughters and her niece tried their luck by participating in auditions last year in Montrreal. ‘’We wanted to win money to be able to renovate our house,’’ Bryant explained. They then made the trip to Toronto, all-expenses paid, to participate in the taping of the quiz. ‘’We really enjoyed ourselves,’’ recalled Bryant, who was the captain of the team. Proud to be a Chateauguay resident, she assured herself that the name of her municipality would be registered and not that of Montreal. ‘’We come from Chateauguay; my girls went to school at Louis-Philippe Pare.
