Châteauguay to develop three beach volleyball courts

The Châteauguay city council authorized in March the use of $80,000 to fund the design and development of three beach volleyball courts in Marcel-Seers Park.

Although this project is not included in the municipality's three-year capital investment plan for 2023-2025, the city considers it a priority and wishes to have it completed by this summer, as stated by Mayor Éric Allard during the meeting.

The amount will be taken from the city's park fund. Located at the corner of D'Youville Boulevard and Girouard Street, the park already features water games, play modules, soccer fields, and an outdoor ice rink during the winter.
