More and more people are wearing a mask or a face-covering in public places in this COVID-19 crisis period. Translation Dan Rosenburg https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7tmmda   That’s the case of Gabor Domonkos. With the lower part of his face displaying an inflamed jawbone, he did not pass unnoticed in the Chateauguay Walmart parking lot on Saturday, April 25. “I bought it on-line on the SA Company website. I got five for $20,” he affirmed to le Soleil de Châteauguay. In his pocket he had a second model evoking an Anonymous look. Why did he cover his mouth? “I don’t think it’s enough to protect myself,” Domonkos indicated. “It helps to protect others.” Recommended The authorities recommend the wearing of the mask in certain circumstances. “Wearing a face-covering in public is recommended when physical distancing is not possible, such as when you go to the grocery store or take public transit. When you wear a face-covering in public, you must also follow other safety measures, such as hygiene and physical distancing measures,” specifies the Quebec government on its website. The gesture seeks to protect others. “Not everyone that has COVID-19 has symptoms. Some people do not even realize that they are infected. Wearing a face-covering may reduce the risk of an infected person unknowingly transmitting COVID-19 to others.”
