We have been watching the progress of the development of the dog park to be placed in Oliver park, in Châteauguay. The markings for the fence have already been laid out. These markings indicate that the fence will go up to the top of the hill facing Stanton. If Mr. Mike Gendron's placement chose goes in this area, it will stop the sliding and tobogganing that is very popular during the winter months. Any child or family will be taking a risk using the hill. It will be too dangerous. They will be within arms length of the fence. The council members have been invited to come to the park and evaluate the situation first hand.
