Kahnawake postpones opening of gaming establishments and bars

The Kahnawake COVID-19 Task force issued that the opening of bars and gaming establishments, scheduled initially for August 10 is postponed until further notice. The opening date was conditional, reminds the Task force. The decision to postpone is based on the increase in the number of cases of COVID-19 in Quebec and the anticipation it will continue to rise. Kahnawake took the decision to maintain public gatherings at a maximum of 50 people, rather than 250 allowed elsewhere in the province.
