Pupils cook lasagna for underprivileged

Some students from Howard S. Billings High School in Chateauguay prepared about 50 vegeterian lasagna meals for underprivileged people during the week of November 11. Translation Dan Rosenburg The plates of pasta were passed on to La Rencontre Chateaugoise and the Moisson Sud-Ouest. It consists of a good dead performed in the context of the Saputo food duty. The enterprise provided a part of the ingredients and the teenagers cooked them. In all, 26 schools from the Montérégie offering the program of culinary brigades of the Table of Chefs participated. On the territory, 10,400 portions of lasagna were distributed to people in need, the Table of Chefs indicated in a communique. This non-profit group’s mission is to initiate the students to the kitchen while supporting less affluent people.
