Corey Crawford of Chateauguay won the Stanley Cup on June 15 with his Chicago Blackhawks teammates by blocking 25 Tampa Bay Lightning shots in a 2-0 victory. The Hawks took the best-of-seven final in six games.

Crawford will have his name engraved for the second time on the symbol of the National Hockey League championship. It was already inscribed two years ago. Following that conqueest, the goaltender shared his joy with fellow citizens at the Chateauguay Multisports Centre.

Congratulations on Twitter

His latest exploit earned Crawford several congratulatory expressions on Twitter. «Bravo to Corey Crawford for winning the Stanley Cup for the second time. Once again you make us proud to be from Chateauguay. Thank you, » reacted Mayoress Nathalie Simon.

«Congrats Corey Crawford for another Stanley Cup,», wrote  Kim St-Pierre, a Chateauguay Olympic gold medallist as a triumphant Team Canada goaltender. The Chateauguay Midgets AAA Grenadiers and the Billings Blazers where Crawford attended high school also congratulated him. (Translation Dan Rosenburg)
