The public is invited to visit Brenda-Milner school

Citizens will be able to visit the new specialized Brenda Milner School in Chateauguay on Sunday, October 6. The doors will be open to the public from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Guided tours conducted by school staff members are planned. A  joint project between the Grandes Seigneuries School Commission and the New Frontiers School Board, the establishment since September has been admitting handicapped pupils aged 4-21 showing a profound or medium-to-severe intellectual deficiency with some associated problems. Those interested must register at helene.dumais@csdgs.net. Visitors will be able to park at Louis-Philippe Pare Secondary School. A shuttle will take them to the Brenda Milner School situated at 201 Sutterlin Blvd. and will bring them back to the parking lot afterwards.
