The Kahnawake Peacekeepers executed a warrant at a residence on River Road on December 4th, at 8 p.m. resulting in three arrests and the discovery of multiple types of drugs.  A total of 697 amphetamine pills, 11.9 grams of suspected amphetamine powder and 206 grams of cannabis were seized, communicated the Peacekeepers in a press release. Leslie Norton and Lyle Clinton Sanipass, both aged around 46 years old, were arrested and charged with trafficking an illegal substance, possession of cannabis for the purpose of distributing, and selling cannabis to an individual over the age of 18. They appeared before a judge in Longueuil Court. Ms. Norton is also charged with obstruction with justice. A local male of 32 years old was also arrested, but he was released on a promise to appear in Court. He could face charges of trafficking of an illegal substance and possession of cannabis for the purposes of trafficking.
