Travaux au pont Mercier en fin de semaine

(English follows) Après avoir annoncé puis annulé ces derniers jours des travaux au pont Honoré-Mercier pour le long week-end de la fête du Canada, le ministère des Transport a informé vendredi qu'il y aurait finalement des réparations au programme.

Un trou apparu dans la chaussée vendredi matin doit être éliminé. Pour ce faire, une voie sera fermée en direction de Montréal à compter de 20h ce vendredi 30 juin jusqu'à 8h dimanche, 2 juillet.

La route vers la Rive-Sud n'est pas touchée.

Works on Mercier Bridge over the weekend

After having announced and then recently cancelled the days of work on the Mercier Bridge over the long Canada Day weekend, the Quebec Transport Ministry on Friday informed the media that there would finally be some repairs on the schedule.

A hole that appeared on the road-bed Friday morning must be eliminated. In order to do this, one lane will be closed in the Montreal-bound direction beginning at 8 p.m. this Friday, June 30 until 8 a.m. Sunday, July 2.

The route towards the South Shore is not affected.
