A Winners shop coming to Châteauguay

The Winners banner will be moving into the Châteauguay Regional Centre next year.

"We expect the new Winners shop in Châteauguay to open in 2024," Sara Marsetti, Public Relations Coordinator for the company, confirmed to the newspaper.

Asked why they were interested in the Châteauguay market, Ms. Marsetti replied: "We are constantly evaluating and revising our real estate strategies, and our decision to open a WINNERS in Châteauguay reflects this thinking," without giving any further details.

In the plan of the Châteauguay shopping centre, available on the website of Brasswater, the building's owner, it can be seen that the Winners shop will be located in the space on the far right of the building, near boulevard Saint-Joseph.

The arrival of the Winners banner in Châteauguay has been in the works for nearly six years. In 2017, the Journal obtained a list of banners interested in setting up in the municipality, and the company was on it.

More than half of the premises in the Châteauguay Regional Centre are still for rent. In an interview this spring, Michael Bonetto, Vice-President of Corporate Operations at Brasswater, explained to Le Soleil de Châteauguay that Brasswater and Groupe Mach, the site's partner, were working to attract big players, but that the economic context was difficult.
