The access ramp for Highway 138 east towards Montreal, on the Honoré-Mercier Bridge, will be closed for a major construction blitz for almost two weeks. Pavement work will be carried out from Saturday July 17th at 10 p.m. to Thursday July 29th at 10 p.m.

A detour will be offered to cars via Highway 132 East. Motorists will have to make a U-turn on Old Malone in Kahnawake, then take the bridge access ramp towards Montreal. Public transport can take the same detour and will have priority access on Old Malone.

All access via the South Shore closed to trucks

All access ramps from the South Shore to Montreal will be closed to trucks. They will have to use other bridges "in order to streamline the traffic," indicated the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Corporation via press release.
