Annual Chateauguay Food Bank collection : Generosity record

The annual Chateauguay Food Bank collection benefited from an unprecedented  wave of generosity on Saturday, October 5. A new record was reached for the 2019 Food Drive,’’ the organization rejoiced on Facebook following the annual campaign. More volunteers participated this year, with 354 involved compared to 312 in 2018. The collection of food articles amassed from house to house enabled volunteers to fill 508 boxes, or 12% more than last year when the total had reached 455 boxes. ‘’Thank you and congratulations, Chateauguay. Job well done,’’ expressed the charitable organization which distributes the food collected to people in need.
