Motorists using d’Anjou Boulevard will have to be patient. As of Monday, July 18th and until Friday, August 5th, two eastbound lanes and one westbound lane will be open between 7 am and 9 am. As of 4 pm two westbound lanes and one eastbound lane will be open.

Several Steps

In addition to repaving the surface, which will be done overnight between 9 pm and 6 am, over a period of two nights, the City of Châteauguay has planned other work on that portion of the road, as indicated on the city’s website. Indeed, sawing operations are planned around storm sewer drains and water mains, as is maintenance of sewer openings, catch basin crates and water main covers.

The municipality will also orchestrate road levelling work, which could temporarily limit access to residences and businesses throughout the day.

The work, valued at over $1.4M, is being carried out by Pavages Métropolitain Inc. which won the city’s call for tenders in June.
