Centenarian loyal to her hairdresser

Margaret Diabo celebrated her 100th birthday on January 9. This event represented a special moment for her but also for Manon Doucet. Translation Dan Rosenburg Every Saturday, the lady from Kahnawake trusted her hair to Doucet at La Belle and the Rebel beauty salon in Chateauguay. ‘’For 30 years I have been arranging hair and she has followed me everywhere,’’ Doucet affirmed. ‘’Her hair is very important to her.’’ As the years went by, the two women developed a friendly connection. ‘’She is like a third grandmother for me. I like her a lot,’’ says the hairdresser of her faithful client.
