Châteauguay et Mercier organisent une grande marche

(English follows) Les villes de Châteauguay et Mercier invitent les citoyens à marcher ensemble 5 km le dimanche 20 octobre, sous l’inspiration du Grand défi Pierre-Lavoie. Le départ est prévu à 9h30 au parc Joseph-Laberge à Châteauguay. Les participants vont longer la rivière Châteauguay jusqu’au parc Raymond-Pitre à Mercier. La fin de l’activité est prévue vers 12h30. Un service de navette offert par exo permettra aux résidents des deux municipalités de rentrer chez eux après la balade. Il s’agit de la deuxième édition. En 2018, environ 375 marcheurs avaient effectué le même parcours mais en sens inverse. The start is scheduled for 9:10 a.m. at Laberge Park in Chateauguay. Participants are going to walk alongside the Chateauguay River until Raymond Pitre Park in Mercier. The end of the activity is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. A shuttle service offered by exo will enable residents of both municipalities to get a ride home after the walk. This is the second edition of this event. In 2018 about 375 walkers had negotiated the same course, but in the opposite direction.
