Chateauguay remembers

A tribute was paid to war veterans on November 3 in Chateauguay. Branch 108 of the Royal Canadian Legion held its traditional parade in the streets of the municipality and proceeded with a memorial ceremony at its Gilmour street building on the approach of Remembrance Day November 11. ‘’Together, we observe a moment of silence to mark the sacrifice of the many who have fallen in the service of their country, and to acknowledge the courage of those who still serve,’’ the Legion explained.
