City wants public opinions on church project

The City of Chateauguay is holding a consultation on the project of the public place in front of St. Joachim Church. The project is endowed with a budget of $2.5 million. Michel Thibault  Translation Dan Rosenburg An information evening kicks off the process at that church on Wednesday, October 23 at 7 p.m. ‘’Before awarding a contract for the project design and the preparation of plans and specifications, the City wants to gather ideas and inspiration from church-goers, local residents, as well as from the entire municipality, local artists and various stakeholders interested in the site’s development,’’ informs the municipality in a press release. The modalities of the consultation will be divulged on that date, the City specifies.
