GMF Les Jardins returns

The Chateauguay Les Jardins medical clinic will become Le Soleil (GMF) les Jardins medical clinic,  on Sunday, November 1. Some doctors formed a new entity to re-establish the services to the general public that the preceding GMF was no longer in position to assure. This summer, the clinic practically stopped functioning. The doctors found themselves without a secretary to make appointments. “The owner of the clinic was not reachable. It seems there were management problems. No one was up to date on the situation,” affirmed a doctor who was present on September 8. Five of the seven doctors on the team are resuming their normal activities with the new Le Soleil (GMF) Les Jardins clinic. ''Nothing is going to change for the patients'', one of the doctors (who preferred to remain anonymous) indicated to Le Soleil newspaper on Wednesday. ''As is the custom, the people will have access to the family doctors and specialists in various health domains.'' Consultations in person are possible, the doctor confirmed. Blood tests without appointments, urine analyses and other services will resume on November 1 at the clinic situated at 72 St. Jean-Baptiste Blvd. Interested parties can make an appointment by telephone at 450-800-0073 or by fax at 450-977-9480.
