Nominated at Maple Blues Awards

The Chateauguay group Durham County Poets has been nominated at the Maple Blues Awards in the category of ‘’New artist or group of the year.’’ The public is invited to vote between now and December 1 on the website of this gala that is dedicated to blues music. The initiative is being presented by the Toronto Blues Society. Winners of the 23rd  edition of the Maple Blues Awards Gala will be announced on February 3 at the Telus Centre/Royal Conservatory in Toronto. The group is composed of David Whyte, Carl Rufh, Neil Elsmore, Rob Couture and Kevin Harvey. On January 17, 2020 the Durham County Poets will perform the songs from their fourth album entitled Hand Me Down Blues at the Albert Cabaret in Salaberry de Valleyfield. (translation: Dan Rosenburg)
