One lane on Mercier Bridge this weekend

Motorists can expect traffic slowdowns on the Honoré-Mercier Bridge this weekend. Only one lane in each direction will remain open due to slab repair work.
A partial closure will be in place from Friday, August 13th at 10 p.m. to Monday, August 16th at 5 a.m. The entrace from Airlie Street in LaSalle will be closed at the same time.
The Ministry of Transport indicates, however, that this work could be postponed in the event of adverse weather conditions or operational issues.
The reconstruction of the provincial portion of the Mercier Bridge is part of Quebec’s Infrastructure Plan for 2021-2031. Other interventions should be expected before the completion of this major project.
