Pêche meilleure que prévu à Châteauguay

(English follows) Mark Mallen a attrapé de gros poissons cet été à Châteauguay. À sa grande surprise. «Je n’aurais jamais pensé que la pêche serait aussi bonne», a-t-il indiqué au journal dans un courriel accompagné de quelques photos le montrant avec des prises «monstres». Toutes des captures réalisées dans le lac Saint-Louis devant le Centre nautique de Châteauguay, a-t-il précisé. Résident de Châteauguay, M. Mallen a néanmoins l’habitude de pêcher au Vermont. C’était la première fois qu’il tendait sa ligne dans la rivière et le lac près de chez lui.

Fishing better than expected in Chateauguay

Michel Thibault  Translation Dan Rosenburg Mark Mallen caught some big fish this summer in Chateauguay, much to his great surprise. «I’m used to fishing in Vermont;  however, this summer was the first time I had the chance to fish in the Chateauguay River and Lac St. Louis. These sturgeon and catfish were caught here in Chateauguay in front of the Chateauguay club where they rent kayaks. These fish were all caught in the past 19 days. I never knew the fishing here was so  good,’’ Mallen said.
