St. Jude Elementary School in Chateauguay was animated after class Wednesday.

It was its turn to play host to a ‘’Community Wednesday,’’ a formula launched ten years ago.
These rendez-vous convene up to about 20 groups in one school from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The general public has the opportunity to find out about a multitude of services from intervenors present, who are, in fact, mostly women. Various activities for families are also proposed, as well as a spaghetti supper at reasonable prices.
This one at St. Jude School took place under the theme of well-being and benevolence.
The next ‘’Community Wednesday’’ will be held on December 4 at St. Willibrord School in Chateauguay at which time the 10th anniversary will be emphasized.
The activity results from the collaboration of assistance groups, the CISSMO, the New Frontiers and Grandes-Seigneuries school boards, as well as public services such as the police and firefighters.
