Wifi now available at Anna-Laberge Hospital

Users and guests can access free wireless Internet on their mobile devices at Anna-Laberge Hospital in Châteauguay from now on. Wifi is now available in the emergency room, cafeteria and most waiting areas, informs CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest (CISSSMO). To connect, users have to go to their device’s settings, select the Wi-fi network sirsm – public and accept the terms of use. As per the hospital’s website, The use of a mobile phone is strictly prohibited in the hospital, as is the use of a laptop with Wifi. CISSSMO also indicates that work is in progress at the Suroît Hospital in Valleyfield and the Barrie Memorial Hospital in Ormstown to offer the service. Wifi is available since two years in the emergency room at the Barrie Memorial Hospital, financed by the it's foundation.
