Corey Crawford will make a visit to Chateauguay with the Stanley Cup on Sunday, July 12.

The Stanley Cup champion Chicago Black Hawks goaltender's father, Trevor Crawford, announced the news to Le Soleil Thursday afternoon.

« I wanted our community to be informed first, » Crawford's dad emphasized.

The meeting place will probably be at Billings Park, but the exact time remains to be determined. The Cup will arrive in Montreal by plane from Winnipeg in the morning. The day's schedule will be a heavy one and they will have to cope with the Mercier Bridge,  Trevor Crawford said. The meeting with the public will last for three hours.

« I am very proud of my son. He has accomplished something really difficult. It's unbelievable how hard he worked, » said his dad.

Crawford will be showing the Cup to his fellow citizens for the second time. He had also shared the Hawks' championsnhip with his hometown fans in 2013.
