Le ministre Dubé ouvre l’oreille aux groupes communautaires

(English follows) Le ministre Christian Dubé, président du Conseil du trésor et responsable de la région de la Montérégie, s’est assis avec les représentants des organismes communautaires de la région, le 23 septembre. La rencontre était organisée par la députée de Châteauguay, MarieChantal Chassé. Son but : inspirer le gouvernement dans ses réflexions entourant le soutien aux organismes communautaires. Autour de la table, plusieurs dirigeants d’organismes communautaires ont évoqué des enjeux de financement et de main-d’œuvre, notamment. Les deux étant interreliés.

«La clientèle que l’on dessert a besoin d’un ratio d’un pour cinq (une intervenante pour un enfant), illustre Béatrice Pinot, directrice du Mouvement Action-Découverte, lequel offre des services aux personnes ayant une déficience intellectuelle. Mais notre sous-financement a un impact sur notre capacité à offrir un salaire attrayant, poursuit-elle, et on doit travailler avec un ratio d’un pour sept, ce qui a aussi un impact sur la qualité des  services offerts». Les dirigeants d’organismes communautaires présents avaient aussi plusieurs interrogations sur la façon dont sera répartie l’aide supplémentaire (4 M$) octroyée aux organismes de la Montérégie. Accueil mitigé Cet entretien avec le ministre a été accueilli positivement par la plupart des personnes invitées. Certains ont salué l’ouverture du gouvernement face aux enjeux spécifiques à la région. «On est très content, c’est un beau changement d’attitude, parce qu’avant (avec le précédent gouvernement), on n’était pas capable de parler à notre député» confie Martin Bécotte, directeur de la Fédération régionale des OSBL d’habitation de la Montérégie et de l’Estrie. D’autres faisaient preuve de plus de prudence, comme la directrice de l’organisme L’Accolade Santé mentale, Gabrielle Brin D’Amour.  «Ce n’est pas la première fois qu’on a la chance de rencontrer un ministre. Alors on va attendre de voir si cette rencontre va vraiment donner quelque chose», a-t-elle confié. Rehaussement de l’enveloppe Le gouvernement caquiste a annoncé le 10 septembre une bonification de l’aide octroyée pour les organismes communautaires de la Montérégie. Une aide financière récurrente de 4 M$ a été ajoutée au montant de 66,6 M$ alloué dans le cadre du Programme de soutien aux organismes communautaires. Minister meets with community groups

Minister Christian Dubé, president of the Treasury Council and the person in charge of the Monteregie region, sat down with representatives of community groups from the region on September 23. The meeting was organized by Chateauguay MNA MarieChantal Chasse. Her goal: to inspire the government in its reflections surrounding the support of community groups.
