The attendance was significant at the mobile screening clinics, held on July 16 and July 22 in Châteauguay. As per the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Montérégie Ouest (CISSSMO), more than 700 people were tested. Le Soleil observed the popularity of the clinic on the first day, on-site. A line up around the Centre 55+ was observed before the opening, at 9:30 A.M. With a capacity of 500 tests per day, 419 were completed. On the second day, more than 300 people were tested for COVID-19, informs Jade St-Jean, spokesperson for the CISSSMO. However, she indicates that the results are not known yet. Both clinics were without appointments and opened to everyone.
