Patric Viau to run for the Conservative Party in Châteauguay

Patric Viau will carry the Conservative Party’s banner during the provincial election on October 3rd. The real estate broker, who has experience in the banking and railway fields, wants to rebuild the health care system.

“The health care system in its current form is sick and needs a complete overhaul,” he said. “That’s why private input into the public health system can play a significant role in ensuring the equitable access to quality and timely care for all, while maintaining a universal public insurance.”

Mr. Viau is a graduate of Cégep de Valleyfield in real estate brokerage. He started his career at the National Bank as a mortgage development manager. He later took part in the Lac-Mégantic railroad repair project. Now 33 years old, he is back in the mortgage brokerage business with Groupe Financier Signature.

Quebec Conservative Party leader Éric Duhaime was in Vaudreuil-Dorion on August 4th to introduce nine new candidates in the region.
